New CEO of Nilfisk-Advance
The Chief Executive Officer of Nilfisk-Advance, Jørgen Jensen, has resigned and has been appointed CEO in another company outside the NKT Group. Jørgen Jensen will leave Nilfisk-Advance at the latest by the end of 2013. Jørgen Jensen has headed the development in Nilfisk-Advance to today's market leader in production and sales of professional cleaning equipment.
The new CEO of Nilfisk-Advance will be Jonas Persson (43), currently member of the Executive Management Board of Assa Abloy and head of Assa Abloy’s Asia-Pacific division. Jonas Persson will take up his duties at the latest by the start of 2014.
Jonas Persson is a Swedish citizen and graduated from Lund University, Sweden, with a MSc. degree in engineering in 1994. He has an extensive international career background and has achieved significant commercial results in particular in the Alfa Laval Group, Nolato and lately 4 years in Assa Abloy, being domiciled in Hong Kong, he has been responsible for more than 16,000 employees throughout the value chain for the region from product development, production and sales.
Jonas Persson started his career in the production environment of Alfa Laval in both Sweden and China, and has for many years been living with his family abroad. Following the appointment in Nilfisk-Advance Jonas Persson and his family will relocate from Hong Kong, China, to the Oresund Region.
